  • I did it!!! Survived an entire week with the boys by myself. There was a busted lip (literally thought his teeth went through his lip but were good), a stomach bug, artwork on almost every wall upstairs, almost missed a scheduled session, we ate breakfast for dinner (cereal) almost every night.... but ya know what.   • Well today we’re going to educate - respect. I had a friend show me a comment someone made on their photo, specifically it said “photoshopped af”. Dude come one. Photography is a form of art. Reminder, art is the expression or application of ones own creative skill and imagination, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. So it doesn’t matter what dude thinks it’s not his art yo. I will never ever judge someone else’s work of art negatively. It’s all beautiful. I think light and airy is just as beautiful as dark and moody. The dark moods just move me more in my own edits. It’s ok though... people who feel the need to say not so nice things about other people’s art they must be going through some shit. My dad always said to us growing up - bully’s are the most insecure. To that dude who judged my friends art as photoshopped af - I photoshopped the moon in my photo yesterday because the original moon just wasn’t as exciting. How do you like them apples.   • Last week I took a much needed social media break. I think i posted one time? I didn’t care about the engagement numbers or the follows. Putting your business on IG can be so exhausting. Post everyday, the better the engagement the more people see you, interact with your crowd, show face etc. Welp I’m here to say it felt good to step away. I still posted some to stories because lets all be honest it’s what we are here for these days. Anyway I put my focus on other things last week and I had the most productive week. Painted rooms, painted furniture, my first yardsale (that’s another story), editing, emailing, sending of galleries and a ton of client phone calls. So suck it algorithms.
